Ristorante Sa Musciara

About Us

Sa Musciara is a completely family-run restaurant, whose cuisine is based on simplicity and the freshness of ingredients, especially those from our Mediterranean sea, in particular tuna.
The name is closely linked to the history of the town, Portoscuso, whose origins date back to the early 1800s, when its waters were crossed by boats engaged in tuna fishing, among them Sa Musciara, the boat of the Rais, the head fisherman, who used it to monitor the number of tuna caught in the nets through a glass panel placed beneath the keel.

Today, at "Sa Musciara," you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes based on tuna and fresh fish, including the famous namesake spaghetti. Above all, however, it is the warmth and kindness that customers most easily recognize as the restaurant’s true ingredients.

The Sa Musciara Restaurant has now moved to the seafront on Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo, in an elegant and refined setting, with the possibility of dining outdoors on fine days, offering you a selection of fish-based dishes capable of satisfying even the most demanding palate.
